Back to the Future: Mercury Retrograde in Virgo
Mindful Mercury turns retrograde in Virgo from 13th – 31st August. Then it’s back into Leo, turning direct on 5th September. So recollect, rewrite, redo, rewind…..and during this Virgo journey, remember to always read the small print. Yes, terms and conditions apply, even if written in fiendishly tiny letters by scholarly ants.
Mercury retrograde flags up all the usual – travel confusion, communications going astray, computer madness, misunderstandings, and arrangements that have to be rearranged or cancelled. Mercury retrograde in Virgo is an excellent time for nit-picking, drilling down into the finer points of a dilemma, and collecting research.
We’re currently between two eclipses too – this is really not a helpful time to push through hugely important decisions. It’s more favourable, if possible, to stay flexible until Mercury turns direct. All manner of new information and changed circumstances may alter the kind of choices we make in September.
‘Peace and Music’, as advertised at Woodstock forty-eight years ago this August, could be exactly what we all need to seek out this month. And why not add a little love too?
The definitive documentary movie, ‘Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music’ directed by Michael Wadleigh, would likely bring Mercury in fastidious Virgo out in hives at the sight of all that mud and free love. It is, however, available from all the usual suspects. Feed your head. Mercury is definitely in favour of that.
Mercury finally leaves Virgo on 30th September. It’s a long session in the library, but (possibly) we’ll all be tidier and more organised by the end of it.
